As far as my branch of the Aulds in Australia are concerned, I am a 5th generation descendant of John Wallace Auld. The son of Peter Auld and Mary Wallace, John Wallace Auld was born in West Calder Scotland in 1830. A baker by trade, John immigarted into Victoria Australia onboard the The Emigrant in 1852. John married Jane Fair in 1855 and they had three sons together, James Wallace, John Wallace and Peter, before Jane died in 1873. John remarried Elizabeth Ann Lithgow in 1873. John and Elizabeth then went on to have four children, William Wallace, Richard Wallace, Marian Elizabeth and Annie Elizabeth. John died in Victoria in 1901 aged 70 years.
Although primarily concentrating on Auld families who have immigrated to Australia, I have also recently starting collecting information on other Auld families from around the world.Visit the AULD's and connected families website
